BUILDING H1 · 01

Objective.
Define what must be learned.

In H1 humanoid robotics development, an objective turns a broad ambition into a question that can actually be tested.

01

A testable question

A useful objective names the system or behavior under examination, the conditions of the test, and the reason the result matters to H1.

02

A boundary, not a promise

It describes the scope of the current work. It does not imply that a feature is complete, ready for deployment, or representative of the entire robot.

03

The publication test

A reader should be able to understand what success would mean before seeing the result. If the goal cannot be stated clearly, the experiment is not ready for a public entry.

04

Robotics example

An illustrative objective for a humanoid robot could be: check whether a lower-body prototype maintains balance while starting and stopping on a level surface. This is an example of wording, not a reported H1 test result.
